UK Flagship Office Relocation & Workplace Modernization
A global investment management firm relocated its UK headquarters into a premier financial district property where executive and client scrutiny would be immediate and ongoing. The mandate extended beyond a standard office move: the organization wanted a modern, future-ready workplace where technology decisions were governance-disciplined, not just feature-driven. Uncontrolled modernization was not an option.
Procyon Services led workplace technology and physical access design with an endpoint-first, governance-forward approach. A unified digital access card — covering building entry and employee lockers — replaced a fragmented physical access model, a first for this organization globally. Collaboration spaces were designed for reliability under executive and client-facing conditions. Strategic hardware choices reduced cabling complexity and lowered long-term facilities reconfiguration costs.
The relocation was delivered with zero disruption at go-live. New global workplace and access standards were created from this project and adopted across other offices — a sign the design was sound enough to replicate. Long-term operating and facilities costs were measurably reduced. Modernization became controlled leverage rather than unmanaged expansion. When design is disciplined, it becomes defensible.
Result
Zero disruption at go-live. Unified physical access standard (single card for building entry and lockers). New global workplace standards adopted firm-wide.
